Click on the TOOLS and then ADD-ONS. From this list, disable/uninstall any suspicious PLUGIN or EXTENSION.
Now click on the drop down arrow just beside the SEARCH BOX which is placed top right corner of Firefox. Then select MANAGE SEARCH ENGINES. And then disable/remove any bad application like Chatzum Search virus if listed.
Google Chrome:

Stop malicious processes:

@ Nadeene, Did you follow the instructions? Go to your browser settings menu, and remove ChatZum from “Search providers” list. Also remove its toolbar from control panel if it appears. If not, go to C: Program Files and remove any file and folder related to ChatZum. Or Alternately, scan your computer with Malware Bytes or Super Antispyware. Good Luck
i just put in a new hard drive today and have just been putting in basic stuff. all safe. the only thing weird is adobe has told me 3 times i need flash player. i am getting it direct from adobe. i think this is what is causing it. as soon as i get rid of it, bam its back. still keeping log to see if its adobe
