Nothing works. I try all known malware removal tools and read all the articles similar to this one but without success. I removed KIS 2011, download and in install trial version of Norton Internet Security 2011, update, full scan and problem is solved, no more STDRT.EXE on my laptop.
I had some serious problems with this file, and in my research to eradicate it, I have only found one person who besides me, experienced an additional problem directly caused by the “stdrt.exe” file. We both experience our CPU running at 60% plus and also realized that we were losing 4GB-7GB per hour off our monthly download allocation. I blamed Bigpond in Australia, but after four months of losing 25GB in less than a day, I decided to research it and found this chaps entry that he also was losing over 4GB per hour, 60% plus CPU and a very slow computer. NOTE; I was not using a PS3, YouTube, P2P or streaming music or video in that four months. The data was not decreasing my HD free amount either. Both of us experienced the loss of massive GB loss into cyberspace.. We have no idea where it was going except off our monthly IP account usage meter. I followed his advice to immediately go to task manager and shut down stdrt.exe and run a Malwarebytes.. I ran the paid version with success and that program totally removed the Trojan/virus from my laptop. I will say that neither of us knew where it came from at the time of removal, however, I do remember having a problem with a very nasty anti-virus removal program called Antivirus.net where this person, through a popup, somehow installed his file and then refused to remove the problem unless I paid him $60.00 US. I ran Malwarebytes (free version) to get rid of his popup demand for money.. Which it did, but the free version must have left his Trojan behind leaving me with a somewhat troublesome dilemma. Use the paid version. While checking your computer foe the existance of the file, make sure you disconnect from the Internet. I would like anyone who experienced massive IP download allocation losses to leave that information at this forum.
The very long answer with nemurous programs to try falls short of saying reformat the hard drive and reinstall the OS and applications. I’ve read her generic answer hundreds of times before and it doesn’t really address a problem directly.As you have already tried several AV and antispyware scanners and yet you still can’t fix your computer, back up all your data and do a clean install of the OS and apps instead of going on a wild goose chase.I know it’s not easy as it is time consuming but trying all the programs suggested is time consuming as well and its just a trial and error. A full scan with each AV takes hours. How much more if you will be trying every scanner suggested until the problem is fixed?I’ll tell you this. Skip the Avast and give Kaspersky the last shot. If the problem is not solved, try no more. Reformat, reinstall the OS apps and then restore your data.
I am having the same problems and each time my PC is started srdrt.exe starts again, I find the file and reg entries and delete them all but it starts back up on reboot. Avast anti virus free does not detect it either nor does spybot any help would be good thanks

How can I delete them?Every time, I go on the internet, the pages does not display correctly, and there is a fake about: blank page with the free soft wares ad. Sometimes, there is also a link to a web free scan software when I browse my C directory. In addition, there are warning messages about that I have a virus from the Trojan, and a Download complete saying that I’ve downloaded a horse f***ing girl video. How can I delete all this crap?
